DIY knitted socks- by me!

I've been knitting for a while now, but never got around to socks(their pretty hard). But along with a delightfully fab cat sweater, at a church sale I found the Columbia Minerva, 50's style handbook. If you want to learn how to knit, get this. I insist! I've tried out so many books, and the instructions can be so vague! Stitch and B*tch by Debbie Stoller is also a great read. It's a knitting book with a third wave feminist flair. Can that be any better?!
